Martyn Jones Founder

Started Ragdoll as I believed that a lot of research had become too academic to make a real difference. We spend a lot of time working out what we need to know then work out how best to get this information. Often we will amend or even create a technique - this enables us to get really close to the issue and result. We strongly believe that research and planning must be really creative - or you end up getting thoughts that your competition have already had

Chris Speed Managing Director

I joined ragdoll back in 2005 as Research Executive, having worked with Martyn in a previous role at Clerical Medical. Over the past 11 years, I’ve helped in the growth and development of the business to where it is today. In my current role of MD, I’m responsible for all major day to day running operations for the business  In addition I support the management of the research team with the other Directors to ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest quality and standards and deliver meaningful and actionable outputs for our Clients. It’s been a passion of mine in supporting the growth and development of and I’m looking forward to continuing to do so into the future

I manage both quantitative and qualitative projects across a number of industries with some of the world's most high profile brands. I particularly enjoy the range that the research industry provides and relish working with different companies with different needs.Whilst I do work on a wide range of projects with ever-changing methodologies, my specialties are Brand Tracking and NPD / Concept Testing...

Having worked with Martyn at Entri Research 20 years ago and been a Client of Ragdoll for the past 10 years helping us uncover brand and consumer insights for Bray Leino and Clients, I was delighted to accept an invitation last year to join the executive management team.
