Whale and Dolphin Conservation

Leading with the hashtag notwhalefood, we created an animated microsite and accompanying campaign collateral which could expose, educate and make a considerable difference to the plastic epidemic we?re faced with today. Through a brand and illustration style which is accessible to a variety of generations, we have helped to spread the word of this problem and encourage change. WDC and Brita have since partnered with many national businesses who have pledged to make a change.

HESA

The Graduate Outcomes Survey, run by The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), is the largest graduate survey in the United Kingdom. Over 400,000 graduates undergo the survey each year and the data obtained heavily influences future government regulation and funding of higher education, as well as helping prospective students make an educated decision about where to study.

Hico Homes

Hico is a property development business launched by Millennials for Millennials. Their mission is to solve the housing crisis for the millennial generation by creating affordable, customisable and spacious studio apartments with the addition of communal amenities, all within centrally located and connected urban areas. As a new product, ORCA were involved in the whole development of this brand, from naming and logo design, to digital and brand development.

Briefbox

Through the creation of a modern brand and extensive digital community platform, ORCA has helped to launch Briefbox as a global product. Briefbox is now a growing design community of over 24k members. Utilising modern UI and cutting edge browser capabilities, ORCA have built a platform which encourages learning, development and progression. ORCA also helped to adapt Briefbox into a subscription based service, offering more benefits and content to paying members.

Vicki Lee Marketing Manager

Vicki is an experienced marketing and community manager. Her skills lie in creative campaigns, social media advertisements, Google AdWords, PPC, Google Analytics, SEO and content management. Vicki knows how to launch brands, products and websites and how to manage detailed strategies and campaigns. Harriet Montague Project Manager

Harriet is experienced in project management, digital and offline marketing, content creation and event planning. She is a proactive and conscientious project manager, experienced in harnessing team talent and producing quality products. Harriet is a creative problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and a confident approach to juggling multiple tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget. Harriet has managed accounts for clients including BRITA, Phase Worldwide, The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) and The University of Oxford, and has delivered projects in collaboration with Goldman Sachs, HM Treasury and Unilever

Joel Rosen Creative Director

Joel is the co-founder and Creative Director of ORCA, and is a passionate illustrator and product developer. He has over 10 years of experience working across both digital and brand, and has lead accounts for clients such as Osborne Clarke, Moet & Chandon and Young’s Seafood. Joel has been featured in Paste Magazine, Creativebloq, Netmag, Product Hunt, Designer News, Design Taxi, 99designs and Digital Artist Magazine for his side project concepts and design work

James Ewin Managing Director

James is the co-founder and Managing Director of ORCA, and specialises in brand development, strategy, content creation, digital and UI. Over his 7 years in the industry, James has held accounts for the likes of Thales, BBC, Bath University and Royal London. He is also a passionate writer and public speaker, and is a featured author for the world renowned Shillington Design School as well as Briefbox and Creative England
