Key People

Steve Sackett Executive Creative Director

Traditionally trained and initially working in London agencies, Steve moved to the West Country, bringing with him a wealth of experience that crosses channels and brands to take Six from a one man band to a 40 strong agency. Full of enthusiasm for our customers’ businesses, he brings a wide-thinking creative approach that challenges and reassures our clients with clear, straightforward thinking and insight.

Alexandra Shallish Creative Director

Alex is as passionate working on creative projects as she is leading the creative team. With a wide range of experience ranging from advertising, publishing to art direction, she has worked on small and large scale creative projects from initial concepts to both print and digital execution. With extensive knowledge of branding and how brands work, her fresh ideas and keen eye for detail have extended across a range of clients including RAC, Lloyds Banking Group, Nectar and Hitachi. Alex is always excited by what we can next show our clients.

Raymond O'Sullivan Digital Director

Raymond has a proven track record of delivering award-winning and commercially successful strategies for some of the UK’s biggest brands. With over 10 years experience in planning and delivering complex offline and multi-channel digital campaigns, Raymond has run key client accounts for brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Orange, BP, RAC and more. As Digital Director, Raymond matches strategic, technical and delivery insight with Six’s rich heritage in brand and design strategy.

Julian Barclay Senior Group Account Director

After three years of London agency immersion, Julian moved to Bristol in 1996, joining the agency two years later. Since then he has been instrumental in the continuing growth of the agency - winning and developing key accounts across a number of sectors. With extensive multi-channel experience, he jointly heads up the client services team at Six.

Ruth Clarke Deputy Managing Director

Ruth is an experienced marketer who has worked with a bag of different clients and brands, in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Strategic and multi-channel and with an attitude of rolling up her sleeves to get the job done, she became part of the early leadership team at what was previously Studio Six and has been a key driver of our marketing and business development agenda. Her role now is helping to maintain our vision and ensure we are the best we can be.

John Argent Managing Director

John moved from London to Bristol in 1994 with a business degree and invaluable experience across a wide range of sectors and disciplines. This has helped underpin the growth of Six since those early ‘analogue’ days with the evolution from a two man band to a traditional execution agency and in recent years to become a genuinely collaborative and strategic business. If John is certain about one thing, it’s that the rate of change won’t let up any time soon so as a business Six will be as vigilant and open to new ideas as ever and embrace challenging thinking with open arms, ears and eyes.
