A South West based agency network

Born in Bristol in 2005, the Stuff network now reaches across the South West with people spread across Bristol, Somerset and Cornwall.

Our experience covers both B2C and B2B across a variety of sectors including; FMCG, pet marketing, food & drink, destination marketing, charity, sustainable travel, tourism, broadband, property, automotive, marine technology, renewable energy, photographic equipment, engineering, legal and professional services, education, HR and recruitment, leisure and retail, property and infrastructure, social enterprises and third sector.

We design a wide range of websites and can either introduce our own team of developers, or work with yours, to build and implement your site.

Key People

Jonnie Galvin-Wright Managing Director

Jonnie has over 30 years experience in planning and creating advertising, design, brand and media strategy. He is a firm believer in “the big idea” and the integration of it through campaign marketing. Jonnie started his career in London with Bozell and WCRS before moving to Saatchi’s regional network, Hall Harrison Cowley (where he originally teamed up with Stuff’s Creative Director Richard Spruce) and then to Golley Slater and Ontrac – an integrated agency in Bristol and Cardiff – before ultimately becoming CEO. He was then delighted to team up again with Richard at Stuff where, as Managing Director, he looks after strategy and client services. Jonnie has worked across a wide variety of sectors including government, utilities, food, tourism, pet, media, retail, education and charities. Jonnie is a past Board Director at Bristol Media, a past Board Member and Ambassador for The Creative Industries at The Chartered Institute of Marketing South West and a member of the national planners organisation APG (Account Planning Group). He splits his time between Bristol and Cornwall. Richard Spruce Creative Director

Richard is an award-winning creative with over 25 years experience in advertising and design. Passionate about creativity, he is always excited when a new brief lands on his desk and loves beautifully simple ideas. Formerly Creative Group Head of McCann Erickson Bristol, Richard has also enjoyed time at Brookes & Vernons, Hall Harrison Cowley and Rhythmm. His experience covers a wide range of sectors and every imaginable media channel. He has worked closely with a huge number of clients such as: Trunki, Avonline, Legal & General, JCB, Galaxy Radio, Bristol Zoo, Nationwide Building Society, Future Publishing, Bridgestone, Lloyds TSB, Vision Express, Britannia Building Society, Bristol Evening Post, HSA, Aventis Pasteur, Page & Moy, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Bristol City Council, Royal Canin, AB Vista, Better by Bike and Miss Millie’s

Sarah Rice PR Director

Sarah has been working in front line media and public relations for over 20 years. She is a passionate campaigner and believes in making communication programmes work to create positive change. Sarah started out as a sub-editor at DC Thomson publishing in Scotland, cutting her teeth as a trainee reporter on The Angus Courier and Dundee Evening Telegraph, before going on to work in regional and national newspapers for over a decade. Her career in PR started in 2008 with national PR and public policy agency JBP, working with B2B and B2C clients across healthcare, IT, environment and energy, FMCG and third sector before going in-house as press and policy manager at the RAC. As well as heading up Stuff’s PR division, Sarah is also a lecturer on the University of the West of England’s Journalism and PR course and a member of the Prince’s Trust South West Development Committee
