Hello there, I’m a former journalist turned psychotherapist who has been in practice since 2004. I also used to work in customer publishing. I moved to Bristol from London in 2016. I work in private practice and for The Priory Hospital Bristol. I’ve also worked for the NHS and in private healthcare. I have written for Time Out and other magazines and worked for agencies such as Square One (which became part of Seven Publishing). I write, blog and present regularly on mental health and wellbeing topics. I’ve spoken at events for The Lecture Club, Raising the Bar and the Time to Change mental health initiative. I’ve even accidentally turned my dog (a rescue from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home) into a semi-famous therapy dog. No, really, I have. She has appeared in several magazine and website features of her own. We are about to appear in a marketing video together.
I can write copy for your features, deliver presentations and design workshops for your business.
I’ve also done a little bit of voiceover work and my first self-help therapy book, The Four Thoughts That F*ck You Up (and how to fix them) is published later this year by Vermillion, an imprint of Penguin Random House. My media website is listed below, my therapy website is www.danielfryer.com
