Social Media Week has announced that infamous Russian feminist activist punk band, Pussy Riot will be joining the line-up for Social Media Week Bristol 13 June 2019 @2pm-5pm.

The exploration of activism in the social and digital age is a half-day conference which provides a platform to explore how activism is evolving and transforming as a result of social and digital channels and opportunities. Co-sponsored by the University of Bristol School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies and the Gender Research Centre, this event is aimed at campaigners, cause-related marketers, purpose driven marketers, non-profits, charities and anyone with an interested in mobilising social change.
