Nomensa director climbs the BIMA 100 list
International UX design agency, Nomensa, is celebrating the inclusion of its marketing director, Catherine Vaughan, on the British Interactive Media Association’s (BIMA) 100 2019 list where she has been recognised in the Strategists and Consultants category.
The BIMA 100 list works to recognise innovation and excellence across the digital industry, celebrating the best in UK digital and creative talent. The prestigious ceremony took place in London’s OXO tower on 8 May and is regarded as one of the biggest nights in the digital industry’s calendar. Nomensa is fast becoming a regular feature on the list, with UX manager Vicky Brown and developer Emily Coward previously featuring over the past few years. Now, marketing director Catherine Vaughan is its latest creative talent to feature.
Catherine joined Nomensa in 2012 having gained extensive experience in the UK and Middle East marketing and events industry, accelerating to marketing director in 2018. Having worked closely with Nomensa founders Simon Norris, Sally Lincoln and Alastair Campbell to introduce Nomensa’s two flagship events, Interact London and Collaborate Bristol, Catherine now leads the marketing team at Nomensa, helping to create and deliver strategic, innovative marketing campaigns with insight-driven, digital-first messaging.
Sally Lincoln, co-founder and managing director of Nomensa said: “I’m proud to see Catherine feature on the BIMA 100 this year. Her wealth of experience coupled with her strategic thinking and keen eye for detail are second to none. During the course of Catherine’s career and particularly during her time at Nomensa, she has achieved a tremendous amount and I’m certain that she will continue to thrive – she thoroughly deserves this recognition.”
Speaking of her inclusion, Catherine said: “I’m incredibly humbled to be featured on this highly acclaimed list alongside a stellar group of individuals. I’m extremely passionate about the work that Nomensa does and my involvement in that. I feel honoured to be a part of the company’s mission for communicating the importance of an inclusive digital-first mentality. To be acknowledged for the BIMA 100 feels great.”
