The South West Design & Digital Students Awards
After a 15-year hiatus, B2B marketing and communications agency of 40 years, Proctor + Stevenson is proud to announce the official opening of the South West Design & Digital Student Awards competition.
Dedicated to honouring the best student designers, creative developers and all-round digital maestros across the South West and Wales, the Design & Digital Student Awards is set to be the largest student awards program this region has to see.
Along with the kudos of being recognised as the best of the best in the South West and Wales, each category winner will receive £1,000 in cash along with a £3,000 cash bonus, plus a paid work placement with P+S for the ultimate winner.
Featuring an elite judging panel including Chris Roberts (Creative Director, Image and Identity, of Dyson), Hayley Brooksbank (Head of Comms & Branding, of Osborne Clark), Bob Mytton (Partner and Creative Director, of Mytton Williams), Paul Bird (Creative Director, of Elixel), plus Proctor + Stevenson’s very own Dan Hardaker (Head of Digital Design) and Ross Gratton (Head of Front-End Development).
Entrants will be judged over three categories:
Graphic design – 3D and print
Digital design – online creative
Creative digital development – websites, online tools, digital games and apps
Students can submit something they’ve already created. Or create something new that they love. It can be anything they want, as long as it fits into one of our three categories. Simple.
Roger Proctor, Managing Director of P+S, said: “P+S prides itself on being keeping our fingers on the pulse when it comes to recognising and rewarding creativity. The South West Student Design Awards isn’t just an opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in design. It’s also a chance for students to gain invaluable experience in a competitive market, to empower, showcase and reward emerging designers. We want to celebrate the incredible talent and creativity across the South West.”
The award ceremony for all finalists will take place on Thursday 23rd May at P+S HQ in Bristol and will recognise the exceptional efforts of the students and individuals across the region.
