Glug Bristol Presents: Risk on 28th Feb
Guess who's back? We're excited to announce our very first Glug Bristol event of 2019 will be held on Thursday 28th February, at The Square Club! If you’re ready for another night of inspiring talks, drinks and some laid-back Notworking, grab yourself a ticket now for just £4.34.
The theme for this event is Risk. Expect an evening filled with tales of taking chances, insight into disruptive and adventurous projects, and stories of how risk-taking makes everything way more interesting.
We’ll be joined by Matt Golding, Founder & Creative Director of Rubber Republic, who will be discussing how you can take more creative risks and how you can convince other people to take them with you. Matt has been making innovative film projects and “viral” films for over a decade, and has won awards such as BBC New Filmmakers and Cannes Gold Lion.
Rog How, Founder of Polleni Agency, will also be on hand to talk us through his personal experience of taking risks. In Rog’s opinion, risk is something we all need to bring into our lives to keep us happy.
Our third talented speaker is Adam Babajee-Pycroft, Managing Director & Founder of Bristol based UX Agency, Natural Interaction. Adam will be exploring risk-taking in the UX design landscape and believes that if properly executed, UX design can enable braver creativity.
Tickets are expected to sell out quickly but we look forward to seeing as many local creatives as possible! We’re also hoping to announce our fourth speaker later this week, so follow us on Twitter @GlugBristol for further updates.
