Making Bristol sparkle this Christmas
The centre piece of the campaign is a large graffiti mural created by local artists Cheo and Silent Hobo that depicts all of the city's major attractions and festive offerings. At the heart of the mural is the Visit Bristol logo recreated in 100's of shimmer discs along with the campaign line 'Make your Christmas Sparkle' and the hashtag MerryBristmas.
Richard Spruce, Creative Director at Stuff explains: "Our solution had to appeal to a very wide audience and showcase all of the attractions and great things happening in the city over the festive period. It also needed to be something people could interact with and that could be shared easily across social channels.
Graffiti was an ideal choice as it is synonymous with Bristol and allowed us total creative freedom. But we didn’t want it to be too urban. We needed something that also represented the more glamorous side of the city. Something festive and sparkly, hence the shimmer discs!"
As well as the mural itself the agency has produced, leaflets, bags, colouring pages and numerous online assets.
