Creative & Digital Future Skills Immersion Event

Developing a flexible 21st century curriculum to support talent development in the creative & digital industries.

Future employees in the creative & digital industries will need to have outstanding skills in negotiation, people management, have high emotional intelligence and be able to solve complex problems.

Universities, FE colleges and many creative and digital training providers in the West of England, are rising to the challenge. Keen to develop new courses and training opportunities in collaboration with employers - to ensure a supply of talent fit for the 21st century.

Skills West and the new School of Creative industries at Bath Spa University are co-hosting this event to welcome education and industry together to explore:

  • How can industry and the education sector co-design a curriculum fit for the future?
  • How can we develop new and innovative training programmes that will enable young people to develop 21st skills in the creative & digital industries?
  • How can employers attract and retain the best talent?

This is an opportunity to collaborate and work together to ensure the future growth and economic productivity of the creative and digital sector in the region
