Bristol agency brings two gold awards Home

It’s been a week since leading employee experience and internal communications agency Home scooped up two gold awards at the Employer Brand Management Awards and the team are still celebrating.

The Bristol based agency picked up gold for ‘Best Communication of the Employer Brand to an Internal Audience’ and Gold for ‘Best Employee Experience’ for their work with Northwell Health.

The two awards recognised the impact of the ‘Made for this’ employer brand that Home created for the US private health care provider. After speaking with 2,000 people from across the business, Home developed a strategy and creative that after testing – and re-testing – became the employee promise and internal communications platform for the entire organisation. The EBMA judges praised Made for this for reflecting the true culture of Northwell Health. It was truly made for the people, by the people.

And it’s worked. Since launching Made for this in March 2017 there has been a 17% increase in employee engagement as a result. Northwell employees are now more engaged than 85% of other US health care providers and the organisation has been listed for the first time on the 2018 Fortune Best Companies to Work for in Health Care and Biopharma list.

Speaking of the win, Home’s Managing Director Martin Knight said “We pride ourselves on doing work that ultimately changes employees’ lives.
