Employer branding start-up wins national award
In their first year of trading, Bristol based employer branding specialists That Little Agency have won a coveted national award for their work with insurance provider Hastings Direct to deliver a new employer brand, careers website and social media strategy.
The Employer Brand Management Awards recognises excellence in employer branding - a strategy increasingly being seen as an essential component to overall business growth. As such, the 2018 event on 19th April in London welcomed a variety of companies and creative agencies from around the country. That Little Agency were awarded a prestigious gold award in the category ‘Best digital communication of the employer brand’.
A relative newcomer to Bristol’s thriving digital communications sector, That Little Agency is a branding and marketing agency focused wholly on raising the awareness of employers to their target audience of job seekers. They help clients find out what it is that makes their business a great place to work - and create compelling recruitment marketing messages and platforms to reach the best talent.
Head of Agency at That Little Agency, Mark Beavan said “The very best work is a combination of a great initial idea, a bunch of talented people who all want to deliver something special, and a brave and ambitious client. Someone like Hastings Direct. The result creates marketing messages that resonate well with job seekers and deliver fantastic results. We are bowled over to have this national recognition in our first year.”
Bridget Kearns, Talent Director at Hastings Direct added “Hastings Direct and That Little Agency make a fantastic partnership. They are great ambassadors for the work we do and have effectively and creatively brought to life our employer proposition. We are delighted with our employer brand award.”
Looking to the future, Mark adds “We’ve already helped companies such as Connect Group, Manchester Metropolitan University, Unum and Hastings Direct tell their employment story, and we’re keen to share this experience with other South West-based businesses. Particularly businesses who are going through a period of growth and are looking for support to help them attract, engage and retain great people.”
