JonesMillbank, a video production company in Bristol, were commissioned by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in late 2017 to cover one of their newest events, Muddy Dog Challenge. The event features 2.5 or 5km obstacle courses which humans tackle alongside their canine companions. Shooting took place in Nottingham on one cold, overcast and thoroughly muddy day and has since provided a plethora of valuable content.

Various edits were produced for Battersea and these were initially picked up by UNILAD, achieving over 20 million views in less than 48 hours. Subsequent platforms including LADbible picked up the content, garnering over 30 million views, 300,000 reactions, 300,000 comments and 250,000 shares. Additional platforms continue to license footage and share original content.

The result? Sign ups have doubled compared to the same period last year, and with content easily shareable particpants have already fundraised over £130,000 with the first event not taking place until June 2018.

Following the appointment by Battersea of media agency Manning Gottlieb, JonesMillbank have also since been appointed to create a series of six location-specific 30s ad spots in-house for Sky AdSmart.
