Glug is coming to Bristol!

Published on Thursday, 22nd March 2018, contributed by Keri Hudson

Based around a series of talks and informal networking, Glug has become one of the most exciting, credible and well-attended creative events around… and we’re finally coming to Bristol!

Our events bring together an eclectic mix of creatives from all walks of life. We reach across the creative industries, from advertising, graphic design, film & motion graphics, through to fashion, digital, technology & architecture.

Glug started back in 2007 as a handful of mates talking shop in an East London pub. Things grew pretty quickly, and today we’re proud to be a global movement with an ever-expanding network of 30+ events and over 100,000 people (or ‘Gluggers’ as we call them).

Glug attracts the big, the small, the upcoming, the disruptors and the established to come and share their stories. On a global level, we’ve welcomed names such as Anthony Burrill, Airbnb, BBC Creative, Cannes Lions, David Shrigley, Dixon Baxi, Design Studio, Google Creative Labs, It’s Nice That, Instagram, Jason Bruges Studio, Jon Burgerman, Marc Kremers, Noma Bar, Pentagram, Social Chain, ustwo, Wolff Olins and many, many, maaaany more.

So now you’re all caught up!

The first Glug Bristol event will take place in late April. We’ll be announcing the date early next week, so keep your eyes peeled!

Have we piqued your interest? Stalk us on Twitter @GlugBristol for more announcements and info, and check out for a taste of what’s to come.
