Communications consultancy Purplefish has been appointed as the new media relations partner for Redrow Homes’ West Country.

The Bristol based agency will be working with the housebuilder in Devon and Cornwall to communicate its key messages and promote its developments through PR and social media.

Purplefish has worked with Redrow’s South West branch, which covers most of Somerset, South Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire, since September 2016.

Following the success of its partnership with Redrow South West, the housebuilder has extended the agency’s contract to include the new region.

Purplefish will now work with Redrow across both regions to promote its beautiful new and current housing developments, it’s extensive community work and charity fundraising and the positive contribution to the areas where it builds.

The agency will work closely with the housebuilder’s teams based in Bristol and Exeter to drive sales of new homes, support events and handle any incoming media enquiries regarding the developments.

Joanna Randall, managing director at Purplefish, said: “We are thrilled to have been appointed by Redrow West Country and look forward to working with them on the many exciting plans they have in place for 2018.

“Redrow prides itself on building thriving and sustainable communities, investing in people and skills, and designing beautiful functional homes.

“These are all messages we’re keen to communicate through a combination of media outreach, community engagement and social media.

“It’s been a huge pleasure working with the team at Redrow South West over the last 18 months and we look forward getting to know their colleagues in the West Country.”

Annie Williams, head of sales at Redrow West Country, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Purplefish who have done a great job for our colleagues at Redrow South West.

“We’ve got some beautiful current forthcoming developments across Devon and Cornwall and look forward to working with Purplefish’s team to promoting these new homes and other projects such as our bumblebee conservation work to wider audiences.”
