Digirank wins Best Use of Search at Wirehive100

Bristol-based digital agency Digirank has won the ‘Best Use of Search’ at the 2017 Wirehive100 awards held in Southampton’s Guildhall. The prestigious awards were launched back in 2012 to celebrate the wealth of digital excellence across the South of England. This year was no different with a high calibre of innovative campaigns on show. The ‘Best Use of Search’s category was hotly contested with eight other fantastic digital marketing agencies making the shortlist.

Digirank’s entry was a celebration of its work with long-standing client Permagard, a Bristol-based damp proofing and basement waterproofing specialist. The strategic multi-channel approach to the Permagard search campaign impressed the judges along with total revenue growth of 37% in a year and a total traffic increase of 36%.

The Wirehive100 judges described the campaign as, “A really outstanding entry. Very well thought through at every level.”

The Digirank team devised an on-site optimisation and content strategy that aimed to reach users at all stages of their buying journey. This included industry-leading 'How To' Guides, providing the answers to informational queries for both DIY users and specialist contractors. The high-standard of content, based on user intent, helped the site dramatically improve its organic rankings and revenue.

Digirank also used Google Adwords to successfully drive foot traffic from local contractors to Permagard’s Bristol trade counter. A supporting display banner campaign also worked well, raising awareness amongst the target audience.
