Andrea Picchi, Lead Experience Designer at Sony Mobile, and Anne Cooper, Chief Nurse at NHS Digital, are among a host of digital heavyweights set to deliver groundbreaking talks at ‘Collaborate Bristol’ this year.

The one-day conference will bring some of the world’s finest design minds together to present a mix of practical and theoretical views from international thought leaders working in the fields of designuser experiencedigital transformation and more.

Held on June 23 at the Watershed, located on Bristol’s iconic harbourside, this year’s Collaborate speakers also include Sam Michael, Senior Designer at Monzo Bank; Hany RIzk, UX Strategy and Design at Volkswagen; Lisa Campana, Head of Design at MOO and Alastair Campbell, Director of Accessibility at Nomensa.

Returning for its fourth consecutive year, the popular event run by digital design agency Nomensa invites attendees to enhance their digital knowledge through talks focusing on collaboration by design, and to network and celebrate Bristol as a vibrant creative hub.

Andrea Picchi, lead experience designer at Sony Mobile, said: “I’m very happy to be speaking at this year’s Collaborate amongst other industry professionals. I'm looking forward to sharing my past experiences with the tech community in one of the largest creative hubs in the UK, at an event that is a highlight in the UX calendar.

“Events such as this are important as they can help contribute to increasing levels of design maturity, which is a personal goal of mine as a design practitioner.  I’m always looking for ways to make progress and I think Collaborate is an excellent forum to discuss some of the misconceptions about design as a discipline and overall design thinking.”

Collaborate’s 200 attendees will be encouraged to inspire discussion around the current digital climate. Focusing on UX, design, digital transformation and accessibility, as the title of the event suggests, delegates will also be invited to actively contribute to the overall conversation throughout the course of the day, and share their own experiences and ideas for the benefit of all.

Catherine Vaughan, Head of Marketing at Nomensa, said: “We’re thrilled to be returning with Collaborate for a fourth year in Bristol. As one of the leading creative hubs outside of London it’s so important to us to fly the flag for for the South West and celebrate the wealth of creative talent found here.

“With two thirds of tickets already sold out, we’re set for yet another sell out event – if you’re planning on attending, don’t sleep on it - register your interest today.”
