Research and Creative Development Opportunity - Tourism & Travel

In a new partnership, Bristol Airport, Destination Bristol and Bath Tourism, together with the Bristol and Bath Cultural Destinations Partnership, are joining forces to develop a co-ordinated offer presenting Bristol and Bath as a two city break destination for international visitors.  We would like to appoint an agency to work with us in two very specific project areas -  research and creative development.

Research - We need to identify key inbound target markets at city level using data provided by the partners.  In addition, we would also like to also identify key travel influences and those influencers who can help us reach consumers in these specific markets. Agency recommendations should form the basis of a three year strategy and an outline action plan to implement.

Creative Development – The objective is to develop a creative proposal and introductory narrative for the presentation of these wonderfully different yet completely complimentary cities, using Bristol Airport as the arrival gateway.  This is about how the cities are presented, communicating the breadth of the offer for visitors that will inform and inspire (and not overwhelm), and not development of another brand.  The creative would be used both digitally and in print, and should be as relevant for the travel trade as consumers.  This would include the creation of a logo applicable both to consumer and trade audiences as an identity, along with the development of basic guidelines for use.

There is a budget of up to £5,000 and we would expect desk research and interviews with key partners to take place during April with the resulting recommendations presented by mid-May.
