Camera Technology Exhibition

Published on Monday, 19th December 2016

Bristol Media in association with Films at 59 showcase a full range of tech options with some of the best new technology on the market. Covering everything from high spec cameras to virtual reality equipment drones to gimbals, this is the perfect opportunity for those looking to explore the latest technology, kit solutions and product innovations.

This free event takes place on Thursday 19th January from 1230-1730 at The Arnolfini, 16 Narrow Quay, Bristol and is aimed at anyone working in video production, film, television and animation.

Films at 59 will host four areas to sample our extensive kit options and products, giving you the chance of a hands-on experience and to see the kit in action.

Choosing the right camera for your required content has never been so exciting – and challenging. The team from Films @59 are expert in helping you plan what you need. Join us as they demonstrate some of their filming kit options from high end large scale shoots to bespoke filming requirements. Hire technicians will be readily available for advice and guidance.  If you would like to book a one-to-one session to discuss your project in more depth, please email Deena Mathews to arrange a convenient time.

Experience the magic of virtual reality with the Nokia Ozo and the GoPro Omni. These Virtual Reality cameras have the ability to capture 360° spherical video and 360x360 surround sound, pushing the boundaries of what 360 filming can achieve.

Looking to create the highest quality aerial video and photography? Creating ultra-smooth, cinematic footage at 4k resolution, the cameras are gyro-stabilised and have full 360° 3-axis rotation capabilities. Capture images from eye level to 400 feet for maximum impact with stunning aerial imagery for your production. We’ll have a Freefly Alta and a DJI Inspire on show to give you two examples of current drones available.

The new Gimbal systems offer superb functionality and access to a range of shots previously only available to experienced Steadicam operators. We will showcase systems including the DJI Ronin and Zenmuse X5R as well as the new Movi Pro.

The team from Films will also be giving best practice data management demonstrations and workflow overviews through post production.

Also in attendance will be CVP, CCK, Skyhook, 180 Hire.

This event is free to attend but booking via Eventbrite is essential. https://cameratechnologyday.eventbrite.co.uk
