Can you offer a placement to a Bath Spa student?

Published on Wednesday, 23rd November 2016

Bath Spa University’s second-year Film, Television and Digital Production students are currently seeking opportunities to gain a minimum of 120 hours’ work experience between now and the end of the Easter holidays 2017 as part of their Placement Open Module.

These students are enjoying the benefits of being educated in the University’s two new state-of-the-art electronic, multi-camera TV studios and new video editing and sound suites.

The placement must involve no more than 15 hours’ work per week during term time, but can expand to full-time over the holidays; they are generally unpaid as the student is gaining academic credit for the work undertaken. All placements will be advertised on our online job portal, CareerHub

All film and television opportunities are welcome. Students have a particular interest in:

  • Editing
  • Directing
  • Sound engineering
  • Film production
  • Television production
  • Production management
  • Camera operation
  • Lighting

We also offer further funding streams for part-funded placement/internship opportunities of up to 12 weeks.
