Digital Production Partnership - Bristol Forum
The Digital Production Partnership Open Forum Tour comes to Bristol Thursday 24 November – it’s free and tickets are now available here. The event is open to everyone working in the TV and creative community in Bristol and the South West.
If you work in broadcasting or digital media, you’ll already know how fast the industry is changing and moving. This is your chance to hear about the latest digital developments, as well as a chance to meet and mingle with fellow media professionals.
Join the DPP to find out about the innovative world of the New Content Creators, important information about cyber security for modern productions, what to do with programme files requiring late delivery and how you can influence the future of all this and more as a DPP Member.
At this special event the DPP will unveil the results of their ground-breaking research into the world of the New Content Creators: small, innovative, digital-first companies collaborating online to create new kinds of output.
And who or what is the biggest threat to your programme? Cyber security is the hottest topic in broadcast today. As more and more productions move into the cloud, discover more about the work they are doing to help you protect your valuable digital assets from cyber criminals. Plus find out what the DPP has been up to over the last 6 months, including launching a new file delivery specification for North America, a study on the state of connectivity for production, and an update on the late delivery process for file deliveries to UK broadcasters.
This session is open to both DPP Members and non-Members.
It's free to attend but you need to register for your ticket here.
About the DPP
The DPP is the media industry's fastest growing business change network. Originally founded by UK Broadcasters the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, it is now a not for profit company with an international membership base drawn from the whole media supply chain - broadcasters and distributors to manufacturers and service providers, production to post production. The DPP harnesses the collective intelligence of that membership to generate insight, enable change and create market opportunity.
