Raising Films a UK-based group campaigning to improve working conditions across film and creative industries for parents and carers are hosting a series of three one-day personal & career development days. Aimed at helping those who have taken a career break for caring responsibilities to focus on their goals, plan a route to achieve them and address the specific barriers they face.

The sessions will blend vision and objectives with practical planning specific to the individual’s own situation and ambition. Each participant will have a one-to-one with a life coach and a series of industry experts, who can offer personalised and realistic guidance. Participants will also be provided with an industry mentor for an online session in the 6-8 weeks following the core training.

Each day will run from approximately 10am – 5pm. Childcare will be provided at the training venue and there will be suitable breaks in the schedule for those feeding babies (Please specify the support you require on the day in your application)

The dates are:

Monday 7th November – Bath, in partnership with Bath Film Festival.

Tuesday 15th November – Leeds, in partnership with Northern Film School.

Thursday 1st December – London, in partnership with Underwire Film Festival and Genesis Cinema.
