Tobacco Factory Theatres has appointed Fiasco Design to create a new visual identity and website.
Bristol-based creative design agency Fiasco Design were appointed by the organisation to redesign it’s visual identity, website and marketing collateral.
After being formed in early 2000 in a beaten up part of the old Tobacco Factory building in south Bristol, Tobacco Factory Theatres (http://www.tobaccofactorytheatres.com) has forged an inspirational path to becoming one of the country’s most respected venues in just over ten years. The diversity of the programme, which includes theatre, puppetry, classical Shakespeare, new writing and devised plays, dance and comedy, combined with the astonishing average attendance capacity of 84%, make it one of the most well-attended, loved and popular theatres in the country.
Ben Steers, Creative Director at Fiasco Design said of the appointment: “We’re thrilled to be working with Tobacco Factory Theatres on this milestone project.”
"As an organisation they’ve achieved so much in the past decade and that we can be involved at this key moment in the theatre’s evolution, is very exciting"
Fiasco Design will be responsible for redesigning the current company logo, visual identity system, season brochure, marketing collateral, signage and website.
Becky Cresswell, Marketing Manager at Tobacco Factory Theatres said of the appointment: “We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Fiasco Design on this project. It’s a very important time for Tobacco Factory Theatres, particularly as we continue to expand the amount of theatre we produce in-house and so it’s an opportune moment to look at our visual identity and at the way we represent ourselves online. Fiasco Design struck us straight away as a successful and ambitious organisation who demonstrated an insight into our organisation and this project which was fresh and inspiring. We’re really looking forward to working with them.”
