Bristol's purplefish hires its first apprentice
Purplefish, a PR, social and brand communications agency in the centre of Bristol, has hired its first social media apprentice.
Molly Dowling, aged 17, wanted to work in social media and found the position through 3aaa, a recruiting academy specialising in apprenticeships.
Molly's responsibilities include, researching the latest social media innovations so she becomes an expert in the discipline. She also helps manage purplefish’s client’s social media channels, developing content to post and responding to enquiries with the wider purplefish team.
Molly Dowling, social media apprentice at purplefish said: “I feel very lucky to have been given this opportunity to pursue my chosen career in such an amazing company. I love my job and working in the creative sector of Bristol as it has so many opportunities. I am very excited to see what other work I will be getting involved in over the upcoming months”.
Purplefish's managing director Joanna Randall, said: “It is great to have Molly on the team as our first social media apprentice. She is a very driven young person and is keep to develop her expertise and career. Her work is progressing we are very happy to give her the opportunity to work in Bristol’s creative sector at this exciting time”.
