Making an impact with the Royal Navy & Orange
Following recent successes at this year’s BIMA and DADI awards, the e3 trophy cabinet is swelling, with no less than six awards to add to the collection from last night’s Digital Impact Awards.
Run by gold-standard publication Communicate Magazine, the awards are hailed as ‘Europe’s leading programme celebrating creativity, innovation and strategic thought in digital stakeholder communications’.
Up against a raft of agency and client-side digital marketers, all hoping to secure one of the coveted awards, e3 triumphed for their work with the Royal Navy and Orange.
As well as scooping the Grand Prix for ‘Digital Campaign of the Year’ for the Royal Navy campaign, they were also delighted to be awarded a Gold for ‘Best Corporate App’ for Orange.
The work the agency did with the Royal Navy to launch its new website also picked up ‘Best Corporate Website’, ‘Best Digital Rebrand’, ‘Best use of Digital in the Charity, NGO or NFP sector’, and ‘Best use of Digital in Public Sector’.
Commenting on the award wins, Neil Collard, e3 Managing Director said:
“We’re obviously thrilled with our success at last night’s Digital Impact Awards, particularly in getting the Digital Campaign of the Year for our work with the Royal Navy. Competition to secure the top award is fierce, so to be recognised in this way at an event judged by some of the industry’s best digital people is the icing on the cake. It’s testament to the team at e3.”
Tristan Pride, e3’s Creative Director, added:
“It’s fantastic to get four more awards for our work with the Royal Navy, and to also come home with a Grand Prix is second-to-none. Personally, getting recognition for the beautifully executed Orange app really shows off what the e3 studio is capable of.”
