Bristol Music Trust is the charitable trust that runs Colston Hall, the South West’s largest concert hall, and its education arm Bristol Plays Music.

We currently work with one external design agency on all our design projects.  We are looking to engage two or three additional designers to fulfil our design needs in accordance with our brand guidelines.

We are looking for designers with a range of skills to work across all of our marketing output. Our projects range from simple flyers and adverts through to overarching campaigns requiring innovative creative and design input across a range of marketing collateral including brochures, outdoor advertising and digital. We welcome expressions of interest from freelance designers or agencies who feel that they could deliver all or part of our design requirements.

Strands:  We create marketing material for the following strands of work:

  • Hall 1 (including rock and pop, jazz and folk)
  • The Lantern
  • Classical (orchestral, chamber and talks)
  • Comedy
  • Bristol Plays Music
  • Nokia MixRadio Remix Academy
  • Development
  • Conferences and venue hire
  • Redevelopment
  • Box office

Expressions of interest

We are looking for designers to tender to provide our design services.  Please email Sarah Robertson, Head of Marketing, by Friday 6 June 2014 with relevant examples of design work created for other clients, an outline of your fee structure / hourly rate, details of the team who would be working with us and a supporting statement indicating why you would like to work with us and how your experience is relevant.  We will invite shortlisted designers in to meet us in June.
