Mubaloo announces the first stage in its expansion plan with the launch of The Responsive Website Company

Mubaloo, the UK’s leading independent enterprise mobile app developer, today announced the first stage in its expansion plan with the launch of The Responsive Website Company (TRW). TRW is a specialist design and development agency focused on responsive and mobile websites for global brands. Karl Loudon, founder and Creative Director of Bristol based Make Design Enjoy, has been appointed as Managing Director of TRW, bringing 10 years of creative design and development experience.

TRW has been founded with a £200,000 investment from Mubaloo Group CEO, Mark Mason. The firm launches with four clients and has 2013 turnover projections of over £160,000.

Mark Mason, Mubaloo Group CEO and founder commented, “TRW has been launched as a sister business that will focus purely on responsive and mobile website design. We didn’t want to dilute from Mubaloo’s app and mobile consultancy proposition in the enterprise market. We looked at the market and realised that there isn’t a UK company specifically designed for responsive website design. There was a clear need for a multi-device agency to enter the market that can help businesses to respond.

Karl had some success with his former agency, but like many start-ups ran into problems with growth. I recognised Karl’s talents for design and development that help to meet the needs of his clients, he just needed better investment and a mentor to help create a great business. When it became apparent that his old agency was going to have to close, I decided to invest in him and bring him into the Mubaloo Group. The current forecast shows that it’s been a wise investment asTRW will produce a return within its first financial year.”

TRW offers a range of services from strategic planning, UX and UI design, back-end integration, front-end development, testing and delivery. By creating a single website for multiple devices, TRW aims to help firms reduce maintenance costs by up to 15% over the lifetime of a site. The company is on a continuous recruiting drive throughout the rest of the year, seeking to find experts with responsive web design experience.
