MOTION take Westfield back to the glamour of the roaring 20s with a Great Gatsby makeover
To promote the new The Great Gatsby film from Warner Bros & RealD, MOTION created a stunning experiential stand inspired by the look and feel of the movie in Westfield Hammersmith.
The stand featured a make-up area and makeover artists, a display of dresses that featured in the film, plasma screens playing trailers form the movie, iPad ticket booking station, seating area with opulent amounts of cakes and champers and a green screen technology area to transpose people to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio into the poster from the film once they had their makeover.
The promotion was a huge success with hundreds of women receiving a 1920’s makeover, before being transposed into the movie poster, which they could email, add to Facebook or Tweet to their friends.
The 3 day campaign generated an estimated 100,000 social media hits and was seen by over 200,000 people, a roaring success all round.
