Plaster flying high after new client win
Internationally renowned ballooning event Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, has appointed specialist event PR and communications agency Plaster Creative Communications to manage its extensive public relations schedule.
One of Britain’s most iconic events, the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta attracts more than 500,000 visitors to see over 130 balloons ‘lift off’ at dawn and in the evening over the beautiful parkland of Bristol’s Ashton Court Estate.
Plaster will be working closely with the Fiesta committee and Richmond Event Management to enhance the profile of this flagship event, including the launch of an ‘Arrive Early, Stay Late’ campaign to encourage visitors to travel outside peak times. The campaign agenda will also cover targeting regional, national and international visitors, managing audiences during the event, attracting new sponsors and working with the chosen headline sponsor to maximise coverage.
This event joins a number of flagship festivals, venues and B2B brands on the company’s roster including international urban art festivals Upfest and See No Evil, one of the largest city wide cultural events in the UK – the Bristol Harbour Festival, BBQ and Music festivals Grillstock, as well as venues Troxy, The Racecourse Newbury and Colston Hall.
