Payroll Administrator/Supervisor – Finance

 

Start Date: August 2020

Part-time: 4 days per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £24,000 (FTE £30,000)

Location: Gas Ferry Road, Bristol (Until lockdown restrictions have been fully lifted some homeworking may be required) 

 

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator/Supervisor to manage day-to-day weekly and monthly payroll processing and to provide related book-keeping assistance in order to maintain efficient running of the payroll function and to provide accurate and timely management information.

As well as processing payrolls the role will involve overseeing the timely collation of timesheets and their entry onto the accounting system, administering staff benefits packages (pension (incl auto-enrolment), group life etc.), dealing with payroll related queries from employees, and managing all communication with HMRC.

 

You will work closely with a Finance Assistant and report to the Finance Manager.

Person specification

You must have experience in running high volume weekly and monthly payrolls.  A minimum of 5 years of dedicated payroll experience is desirable, preferably with knowledge of Sage software functionality. Intermediate knowledge of Excel is essential alongside the ability to be highly organised and used to working to tight deadlines.
