Job description

Our QA vacancy sits in the Bristol office, a converted warehouse situated in the creative quarter.  You will work in our open plan studio, integrating with all departments throughout the business. It's a pivotal role and needs someone with great communication skills

The main function of the role is to ensure quality measures are met across multiple lines of work.  

Our workplace is busy and lively and suits someone who likes to work in a dynamic environment with a varied workload.

The mix of projects ensures exposure to all the different aspects of QA, such as:

  • performance testing
  • security testing
  • compatibility testing
  • accessibility
  • automation

so there is lots of opportunity to grow within this role.

You will need to have great attention to detail, the ability to plan ahead to foresee potential blockers, the focus to complete tasks within a deadline and a need to strive for excellence driven by the pride you have in your work. 

Project technologies are mixed including:

  • Native apps
  • React front end
  • CRM
  • Adobe AEM etc.

Person specification

That's what we offer, in return we'd like you to join with:

  • 2-3 years experience in a tester role
  • Experience testing web applications
  • Experience of communicating with a team and business stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm to learn new tools and processes
  • The ability to provide proactive ownership within a project

The nice to have technical skills are:

  • Experience of CMS, e.g. Sitecore and Umbraco
  • Experience with or an understanding of automation, e.g. UI tests and API tests
  • Experience of or an interest in troubleshooting and monitoring, e.g. error logs and monitoring tools for hosting
