Job description

Meri Meri is an award-winning children’s lifestyle brand that specialises in high end party, accessories, play and home. We are looking for a junior account manager to join our small but expanding sales team based in Cheltenham. The position will be working to maintain an exceptional customer experience for our existing large and multi-site key customers throughout the UK and EU regions. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and administrative experience in a similar industry, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Represent Meri Meri with a positive and friendly can-do attitude
  • Enter sales orders accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Understand the individual needs for each key account and ensure customer satisfaction (problem solving)
  • Maintain/update customer files and complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly 
  • Engage in business development 
  • Follow the company’s GDPR policies and adhere to customer confidentiality
  • Preform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-3 years in a customer service or client facing role, ideally with some sales experience
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel) 
  • Experience of SAP desirable but not required
  • Good attention to detail
  • A friendly, outgoing manner and a keen desire to learn and progress within the role
