The Role…

Are you our new Facilities Manager? We are lucky enough to work in a great office, with great people, and we are looking for a great person to join us as our Facilities Manager.

You will provide and manage a range of operational and administrative tasks across the agency, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office and front of house function.

This is a part time opportunity (22.5 hrs per week) worked over 4 days ( i8deally including a Monday) 

What you will do…

  • Be our “go to person”, for all office facility related enquiries, no matter how big or small, providing a safe working environment for our teams and our visitors
  • Project manage any office moves and refurbs, coordinating space planning and liaising with contractors and building management and security
  • Ensure our compliance with Health and Safety regulations, co-ordinating our First Aid and Fire Marshalls, Risk Assessments, PAT testing and DSE Assessments
  • Develop plans to support and improve our office environment, finding ways to contribute to a productive and enjoyable work space
  • Find innovative ways of keeping the office smiling, engaging colleagues in initiatives for activities and events
  • Be a supportive line manager to our fabulous reception team
  • Provide admin support for the CEO as required

Person specification

What you will need to succeed…

  • You’ll be a real people person, a natural go-to person, with customer service running through your veins
  • Previous facilities/building management experience is essential, ideally, you’ll be IOSH certified, with DSE Assessment experience
  • Your communications and interpersonal skills will be second to none, we are a lively bunch, and there is always something to do
  • You’ll have the ability to deal constructively and positively with challenging situations, and personalities, always with a smile
  • Ideally you will have worked in a fast-paced office environment before, and have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • An unflappable nature, and a genuine desire to provide and efficient and professional service, taking pride in your work and happy to go above and beyond expectations
