We currently have an opportunity for a Communications and Events Officer to join our Faculty of Business and Law.

The focus of this post is to support the implementation of the Faculty’s Alumni, External Engagement and Social Media strategies, working closely with both external experts and UWE colleagues.

The postholder will provide advice and support to current students, alumni, and academic staff on events, communications and social media to help build a community of engaged graduates, act as a custodian for social media across a range of channels and assist in the delivery of a range of projects. You will also have the opportunity to organise and promote a programme of faculty events for Alumni, Research and Business audiences and manage communications and relationships with key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.

To excel in this role we are looking for someone with a Marketing, PR or Alumni/ membership relations background who has experience of working with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as experience of CRM databases with the ability to extract and manipulate data to produce reports.
