Green Chameleon is an award-winning team of highly talented creatives. We are excited to announce that we’ve opened a new position for a full-stack developer to join us in our Bristol Office.

At the agency, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from progressive web apps, eCommerce projects and those buttery interactive experiences.

Person specification

You’re self-motivated, driven and constantly seek to learn new techniques within your craft. You love JavaScript as a language and you’re keen to take your knowledge in this area to the next level. You’ll have used it to create basic animations before and have built some medium sized applications with it in the past with a framework or library such as React or Vue.

You’ll have a strong working knowledge of OO PHP, and experience working with CMSs and frameworks such as Laravel and WordPress. You’ll be confident with working between front-end and back-end tasks simultaneously throughout the lifecycle of various projects and can manage your time efficiently.

You’ll also be keen to keep up with the latest trends and news from the developer community and carry this passion to meetups and conferences to share and explore methodologies with other like-minded individuals.

Specific Requirements

  • Latest CSS
  • ES6 JavaScript
  • At least one modern JS library (React preferred)
  • Used to working in a creative agency environment
  • Git version control
  • LAMP Stack using PHP 7+
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs
  • WordPress & Laravel
  • Experience working with E-Commerce platforms
  • Ability to provide time estimates for upcoming projects

Bonus requirements

  • Basic DevOps experience (Linux administration)
  • Experience of Technical SEO
  • Experience of continuous integration
  • Knowledge of common testing practices
  • History of working in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of cross-browser testing tools and procedures
