Job description

Bristol Zoological Society is recruiting for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Development team. We are looking for someone with experience of working in a digital role, with a strong, demonstrable knowledge of websites (ideally e-commerce), social media, email and online advertising.

Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager you will assist in the delivery of digital campaigns and the day-to-day running of online for Bristol Zoological Society attractions and accommodations - Bristol Zoo Gardens, Wild Place Project, The Lodge, Camp Baboon and The Clifton Pavilion.

You will develop an in-depth understanding of our websites and e-commerce sites, create engaging content for our social media channels, monitor the sentiment of our online communities and work with our marketing team to promote events and campaigns through online advertising.

The successful candidate will not only be creative but also analytical, contributing to reports on sales figures, website stats, social media engagement rates and campaign results. A strong working knowledge of digital marketing routines and experience working with websites is essential as is confidence  in working across multiple digital marketing disciplines for an array of brands in a busy and fast paced environment. Experience working in online advertising and email marketing would be an advantage.
