Job description

Diva has an exciting opportunity for experienced Middleweight Designers looking to make their next steps in the industry to join our award winning Creative Agency.

With a client list that represents some of the biggest names in the Video Games industry, this is a varied and interesting role that is ideal for an experienced Designer or Creative Artworker looking for a new challenge. This position will best suit highly skilled POS specialists with a keen eye for creative design, first class attention to detail and a passion for technical accuracy.

You should be passionate about personal and professional development, getting to know our client’s products and always strive to keep up to date on industry news. You’ll show a willingness to work hard, in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

We value great teamwork and the way we communicate is key. Every person that works with us has the capacity to help shape our future. We’re looking for likeminded people who are excited by that prospect and recognise this as a great opportunity to shine.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a minimum of five years experience in the creative industry and demonstrate a passion for the video games and entertainment genres.

To apply, include a little bit about yourself, a resume, a PDF portfolio or a link to your online portfolio/showreel. No applications will be considered without a supporting portfolio of work.

No recruitment agencies please.

Who are DIVA?

At Diva we believe happiness comes from loving what you do. We’ve built on that core ethos, by celebrating and trading upon true passion. The result is a thriving creative agency, packed with amazing people, who combine their professional talent with their favourite pastimes. The secret to our success is simple. Do great work. Be nice to people.

What will I be doing?

Reporting directly to the Art Director and Design Director, you will primarily be involved in design, production and layout for our busy consumer marketing accounts, so solid proven experience in these areas will be essential. You will also need to be able to turn your hand to original creative executions supporting our clients in delivering regular best in class retail incentives and promotional material across both print and digital activity.

Fast turnarounds are the norm, so you will need to work quickly and accurately, across large scale POS suites one minute, and be able to turn your hand to a variety of other disciplines the next. Press ads, localisation, OOH, digital material, event branding and promotional merchandise will also form a core staple of your daily workload.

You will no doubt be a technical wizard in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically demonstrating a high level of skill in Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. You will need to be a stickler for consistency & detail, able to follow brand guidelines carefully and add your own creative flair to the final output. The ability to scamp concepts and create presentation class visuals will be an added advantage.

As a middleweight/senior, part of your role will involve supporting the more junior members of the team on a day to day basis, whilst working closely with the Art Director and Design Director.
