Bristol Documentary Group DVD Club

Where: King William Ale House, 20 King Street, Bristol, Bristol,, BS1 4EF

When: 09 December 2010 6:30pm to 8:30pm

This is an informal discussion group for anyone in the industry who is interested in documentary film - as a practitioner and /or viewer. The idea is to watch a film in advance, at home or with friends - for this meeting it is "Mugabe and the White African", winner of British Documentary Award, made by Arturi Films from Stroud. Then we meet, eat, drink & discuss. The film is available from Amazon, or to rent from Tesco / Love Film or your local rental shop. You can also reserve a copy from any Bristol Library for 50p plus rental charge - but hurry up 'cos it has to come from another library. And you need a library card. If you have a copy, why not invite someone to watch it with you? If you are planning to come along, please email Jenny on shark@thesea.co.uk so that we can keep a track of numbers - also so that you can co-ordinate your viewing if you want to.

Entry Cost: small contribution on the door
