Bristol based charity African Initiatives is delighted to present the fourth in a series of Go Global Community Action Days! A whole world of activities for all the family!

Come along to St. Werburghs Community Centre, Horley Road on Saturday 2nd October 11am ??? 3pm. FREE fun, hands-on activities for everyone!

Since the beginning of the year African Initiatives has been working with volunteers at schools and community events to bring global issues to the forefront. Through a whole day of workshops at schools, and community action days around the city, local people and children have been learning about the world and sharing their thoughts on global issues.

Project Coordinator, Sian Lamprey says, ???The idea of the Go Global project is to provide an opportunity for the community to come together, find out about the world, and have fun???.

We have some exciting activities for children and adults to join in with; help make a giant identity mask of the community; make your own recycled eco-home; have your say on the Global A ??? Z and more!

The focus is on the community coming together being active and sharing their thoughts about global issues affecting them, their community and the wider world! The day is FREE and open to everyone, so make sure you bring your family and friends along! Refreshments will be on offer throughout the day.

The final Go Global Community Action Day will be taking place at The Withywood Centre, Queens Road, Withywood, Bristol on Saturday 30th October, 11am ??? 3pm.
