Sustainable Retail Challenges

Where: Online, ,

When: 30 June 2020 10:00am to 11:00am

A two-hander with Richard Walker, Managing Director, Iceland Foods, and Blandine Surry, General Manager, Loop Europe on their approach to sustainability and innovation in food retail.

Hear how family business Iceland has stepped up to the challenge of tackling plastic pollution, and what their commitment to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals means in practice. Blandine will share the story of new e-commerce shopping platform Loop, launching with Tesco this year, which aims to redefine our relationship with packaging and eliminate the idea of waste.

The Net Zero Sessions are a series of gatherings and curated conversations on the role business can play in tackling the climate emergency. Through our virtual events this June, we’ll gather business leaders and policymakers from scaleups to blue chips to connect and find creative ways to collaborate in this time of climate crisis.
