Balancing Profit & Purpose in a Global Crisis
Where: Online, ,
When: 16 June 2020 4:00pm to 5:00pm
In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, brands are navigating uncharted territory, where business is anything but usual. As businesses adapt to respond to the crisis, the power of purpose is taking on new meaning.
This session will look at how the role of business in society is being redefined; how as companies pivot and adapt in uncertain times, it might be possible to keep sustainability at the heart of operations; and as we begin to rebuild the economy, how can we do so in a way that’s green?
- Phil Haughton, Founder, Better Food
- Vicky Murray, Sustainability Manager, Pukka Herbs
- Kate Sandle, Director of Programmes & Engagement, B Lab UK
- Moderated by Nick Sturge, Chairman, NED & Strategy Advisor
The Net Zero Sessions are a series of gatherings and curated conversations on the role business can play in tackling the climate emergency. Through our virtual events this June, we’ll gather business leaders and policymakers from scaleups to blue chips to connect and find creative ways to collaborate in this time of climate crisis.
