2nd Bristol Drone Cinematography Workshop   FREE

Engineers House, The Promenade, Bristol, BS8 3NB

Thursday 5 December  09.30-16.00

Drones are transforming the way aerial images are shot – from natural history to drama – so this is the chance to hear from the leading lights of the industry, and look into R&D work that will make drone shooting even more creative, intuitive and achievable in the future.

This workshop is run by the Bristol Vision Institute, part of the University of Bristol, and funded by Multidrone, an EU Horizon 2020 programme. Industry speakers include Philip Dalton, producer and drone pilot atmulti award-winning John Downer Productions, and Hector Skevington-Postles, who shot drone sequences for Silverback Films’ Our Planet and the current BBC series Seven Worlds - One Planet.

The workshop will also look into the future of drone cinematography – shooting on multiple drones; creating virtual training environments for drone operators, and simplifying camera controls intuitively.
