Viewpoints: Waste Water and Water Waste

Where: Watershed, 1 Canon's Road, Bristol, BS1 5TX

When: 06 March 2017 6:00pm to 8:30pm

The first in a series of 'Viewpoints' events - bringing water research to life along the River Avon.

Our 'Viewpoints' events are a series of short discussions showcasing amazing water research and local projects.

Join us at the Watershed as we discuss new exciting ideas about the health of the River Avon and waterways around Bristol. We’ve convened a panel of researchers and water-related stakeholders to talk us through problems and solutions our waterways face.  Professor Rod Scott from The University of Bath, Natalie Fee founder of City to Sea, Ruth Barden from Wessex Water, Dr Svenja Tams from The University of Bath and Professor Richard Pancost from the University of Bristol, will join us to present their thoughts.

This event is chaired by Peter Morris Head of Campaigns at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust

After the discussion, there will be the chance to share your thoughts with our speakers and guests over a free glass of wine or soft drink.

Tickets are going fast so make sure you get yours here: https://viewpoints-bristol.eventbrite.co.uk

See you there as we learn something new about the river running through our city!

Entry Cost: free
