Bristol PhotoMarathon 2016

When: 04 June 2016 10:00am to 5:00pm

Bristol based not-for-profit creative photographic group Second Look has teamed up with MShed again to hold the 2016 Bristol PhotoMarathon centred on MShed at the Harbourside. The event is designed for all ages and individuals as a creative day in the City with pre-loaded FILM cameras. Details below;

What is a Photomarathon?

Don’t worry, there is no running involved! The event is a day to challenge participants to think creatively, meet new people and have some fun. Each entrant receives a disposable camera and a list of topics to capture. The subjects have to be taken in the order which they are provided. Only one picture may be taken to represent each topic.

Registration

All participants will need to arrive at M-Shed on June 4th 2016 to collect their cameras between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Cameras need to be returned to M-Shed by 5 p.m. M-Shed is also going to be used as a base throughout the day for people to pop in & catch their breath or to have tea, coffee, snacks etc at the M-Shed cafe which is very comfortable with a great range of foodstuffs. If you have not been able to finish all topics, your completed subjects will be shown in the subsequent exhibition, so please still return your camera.

You can pre-register to save time and money at: http://www.secondlook.org.uk/photomarathon.htm

Entry Cost: £15 on the day, £12 if pre-registered.
