Media employment tax forum

Where: Smith & Williamson, Portwall Place, Portwall Lane, Bristol, BS1 6NA

When: 22 March 2016 8:30am to 11:00am

Overview

The world of payroll and employment taxation is a complex one. In 2016 we will see the introduction of several major changes including the abolition of dispensations and the introduction of voluntary payrolling of benefits.

In addition to these changes we are also likely to see the results of major consultations in respect of travel and subsistence, termination packages, IR35 and tax and National Insurance alignment over the coming months. Our new Media Employment Tax Forum will give you the opportunity to discuss practical issues with your counterparts in Finance, Tax and HR and identify current danger areas and planning opportunities.

Tax and NI is not all about legislation it is also about how to deal with the practical day to day issues as they arise. The Forum is designed to help you ensure your technical knowledge is up to date as well as providing you with new insights and a chance to discuss key issues. The session is very informal, and the agenda by no means set in stone, so we hope you will be able to join this exclusive group and shape the discussion to best suit your needs.
