BBC at Encounters : The Future of Short-form Channels
Where: Watershed Cinema 3, 1 Canon's Rd, Bristol, BS1 5TX
When: 16 September 2015 1:00pm to 2:30pm

The session features Max Gogarty, Daily Content Editor at BBC Three, on how the channel will operate online, then a wider panel session including Colleen Flynn from Keo Films and Dan Jones from LittleDot on the importance of platforms for short film, the opportunities for new talent and a closer relationship with the audience.
An interactive session to highlight the opportunities - who will be the film-makers? How will BBC Three operate in the digital space? What is the key content in this space, and what can the audience do with it?
This is the chance to engage with a key change in the UK’s media landscape.
