Where: The Tobacco Factory Cafe Bar, Raleigh Road, Bedminster, Bristol (UK),, BS3 1TF

When: 27 January 2015 8:00pm to 10:30pm

Join CineMe for the first event of 2015 as we continue to champion short films and new filmmakers.

Every last Tuesday of the month, CineMe Shorts takes place at the Tobacco Factory Cafe Bar. We screen a selection of shorts made by local filmmakers, whilst showcasing some of the most interesting short film work from talent around the globe. The events provide Bristol creatives with the opportunity to meet like minded people and work together on their own film projects. They also give audiences the chance to watch new works that they would not be able to see at their local cinema.

For January's CineMe Shorts, we will be screening 9 films. The headline film is Mustapha Kseibati's (, 5th short film Mohammed. The film stars Kayvan Novak (Four Lions and Cuban Fury), and tells the story of 12 year old Adam, who finds his 31 year old, superhero obsessed brother with learning difficulties a nightmare - until he sees a chance to use him to gain friends.

After the showing of Mohammed, Mustapha will join CineMe for a talk and Q&A, where he will discuss how the film was made, how it was financed, together with his filmmaking plans for the future.

Other short film highlights for January include the award winning Australian short Yardbird; the Russian animation My Mom Is An Airplane; The USA comedy about friendship This Is It; the fun animation Sausage by Robert Grieves; together with local film productions Hypervigilante (Varun Raman and Tom Hancock), JC Ralls The Silent Waiting Room and work from Vanilla Bear Films.
