As part of a special series planned across the South West this May, this event will showcase top tips from past winners and judges and help you to understand how the Chartered Institute of Public Relation’s PRide awards are changing for the South West in 2014.

From this year, the South West, Wessex and the Channel Islands and Home Counties South regions are being combined to form the CIPR South of England and Channel Islands Awards. In addition, Silver awards will be no more. In every region and nation, Gold awards only will be handed out to category winners.

With the introduction of these changes, understanding how to best present your entries will be more important than ever. The CIPR South West committee looks forward to meeting with you and helping you to showcase the best of your work this autumn.

This event qualifies you for 5 CPD points leading to CIPR Accredited Practitioner Status.

Our expert panel will include PRide award winners from JBP and Inside Media and former PRide judge, Julie Jupe.

This workshop and networking event will be held at Racks Wine Bar in Clifton and will include wine and non-alcoholic refreshments.

The timetable for the 2014 PRide awards is:

•22 April – call for entries open
•23 June – standard entry deadline (18:00)
•30 June – late entry deadline (18:00)
•July – judging
•1 August – shortlist announced and dinner tickets available
•21 November - South of England and Channel Islands PRide Awards ceremony, to be held at The Bristol Marriot Hotel, Bristol

Entry Cost: £10 for CIPR members, £15 for non-CIPR members
