When Martin Kiszko's children learned about climate change at school, he decided to teach himself about green issues by writing one environmental poem a week. That year's work was published as 'Green Poems for a Blue Planet'. He then performed and ran 'green junk poetry' workshops to engage young people and families, at schools and festivals across the UK. On a green mission, and encouraged by invitations to perform at literary festivals around the globe, Martin still writes a poem a day. His new book, illustrated by Nick Park, is 'Verse for the Earth - More Green Poems' published in March 2014.
